Introducing Mythex Guides and the Mythex Blog

Practical guides on building apps and websites with AI, honest tool comparisons, and an engineering blog about how Mythex is built — including what breaks.

Today we're publishing two new sections on mythex.ai: Guides, practical articles for people building software with AI, and this blog, where we write about how Mythex is built and run.

Guides

Most of the questions we get aren't about Mythex buttons — our docs cover those. They're about everything around building: What does an app like this need? What will it cost to run? Should I use a ready-made product instead? How do I know it's secure enough to launch?

The guides try to answer those questions honestly, in five sections:

  • How to build — booking apps, CRMs, online stores, SaaS MVPs, internal tools and more: what each needs, the decisions involved, and a first prompt to start from.
  • Comparisons — AI app builders, coding assistants and no-code tools side by side, including when another tool is the better choice.
  • Concepts explained — databases, APIs, hosting, DNS, authentication and the rest, for people who aren't developers.
  • Ideas and launching — app ideas worth building, what software really costs, and how to validate, price and launch it.
  • Prompting and shipping — getting better results from an AI builder, and taking what it makes safely to production.

A few principles we hold ourselves to: no invented statistics, no made-up customer stories, claims about other products only as those products state them (with a date, because they change), and Mythex mentioned where it actually helps rather than in every paragraph.

The blog

The blog is first-hand: things that happened while building and running Mythex. That includes the unglamorous parts, because they're usually the most useful to read:

  • How we got deploys down to zero 502 errors
  • The out-of-memory crash hiding in a progress label
  • The missing swap file that froze our servers
  • Why we moved our servers to ARM
  • Billing databases by what they actually use

And product notes, like why every Mythex app gets its own database and how published apps now stay up while you republish.
