Build a Voice Actor Directory Website with AI

A voice actor directory lets producers filter a roster by language, accent, age range and genre, then hear demos without opening a single profile. Describe your roster and how actors join, and Mythex builds the search, the listings, the application form and the approval queue on a real database.

Who it's for

Small voice agencies, collectives, language-specific voice networks and training schools that want to showcase their talent and send producers straight to the right voice.

What you can build

Filters for language, accent, gender, age range and genre
Demo players inside the results list
Profiles with studio setup and turnaround
An application form for new voices with demo upload
An approval queue before a profile goes live
A shortlist producers can share with a client

Let producers listen from the results

Producers compare voices quickly. If every voice requires a click into a profile, they shortlist the first few they hear. Put a play button for each actor's main demo in the results list, with a genre switch so the commercial or narration clip plays for everyone at once. The profile is for those already interested.

One-click demo in the list

Consistent profiles make fair comparisons

Use the same fields for everyone: languages and accents, age range they can play, genres, studio equipment, remote session methods, typical turnaround and union status where it matters. Ask for demos under a minute each. Consistency stops the loudest profile winning by design rather than by voice.

Applications and approval

New voices apply with their details and demo files. Profiles stay hidden until an admin approves them, and actors can update their own profile later with changes going back through approval. That keeps quality steady as the roster grows.

Shortlists and enquiries

Let a producer save voices to a shortlist and share it with their client by link. An enquiry from the shortlist goes to the agency or the actor, depending on how you run bookings, and is saved so you can see which voices get requested.

A prompt to start from

Build a voice actor directory for our agency. Producers filter by language, accent, gender, age range and genre, and play each actor's main demo directly in the results, with a genre switch. Profiles show all demos, studio setup, remote session methods and turnaround. New actors apply with demo uploads and stay hidden until an admin approves them. Producers can save a shortlist, share it by link and send an enquiry.

Questions

Can I charge actors to be listed?

Yes, by connecting a payment provider on your own account for a listing fee or subscription.

No. You describe the directory and change it by chatting.

Is it free?

The Free plan needs no credit card and gives daily credits, enough to build and publish a first version. Pro is $25/month.
