AI App Builders With MCP in 2026: Build From Claude, Cursor or Codex
Which AI app builders support MCP in 2026: build Mythex, Lovable, Replit, Base44, Bubble and Wix apps from Claude, Cursor or Codex.

MCP (Model Context Protocol) lets an AI assistant use tools that live somewhere else. For AI app builders it shows up in two ways: an MCP server, so Claude, Cursor, Codex or ChatGPT can drive the builder for you, and MCP connectors, so the builder's own agent can read from tools like Notion, Linear or your database while it builds. As of October 2026, Mythex, Lovable, Replit, Base44, Bubble, Wix and Glide document MCP servers or MCP access, and Lovable and Bolt document connectors for their agents.
If MCP itself is new to you, start with what MCP is.
Why it matters
Many people now do their thinking in one assistant — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Codex — and don't want to copy a plan into another product. With a builder's MCP server, the assistant you already use can create the project, write the code, run it, and publish it, while the builder supplies the machine, the database, the preview and the hosting.
The comparison
| Builder | MCP server (your assistant drives it) | MCP connectors (its agent uses your tools) | What the server can do |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mythex | Yes — https://mcp.mythex.ai/mcp, OAuth | App connectors for Gmail, Sheets, Slack, Notion and more | Projects, files, bash, live preview, database, storage, checkpoints, browser testing, GitHub, domains, publishing |
| Lovable | Yes | Yes, plus custom servers | See Lovable's MCP docs |
| Replit | Yes — mcp.replit.com | Agent can connect to servers | See Replit's MCP docs |
| Base44 | Yes — app.base44.com/mcp | Not found | See Base44's docs |
| Bubble | Yes, official Bubble MCP | Not found | See Bubble's docs |
| Wix | Yes — Wix MCP, plus MCP for every site | Not found | Site and business data |
| Glide | Yes, on Pro ("build with your own agent") | Not found | See Glide's pricing page |
| Bolt | Not found | Yes, not on Free | — |

Mythex
Mythex runs a remote MCP server at https://mcp.mythex.ai/mcp. Paste the URL into Claude, Cursor, Codex or another MCP client, click Connect, approve on Mythex, and start chatting. There is no API key to copy. The MCP docs list the tools; a connected client can:
- Create or open projects and wake their private cloud sandboxes
- Read, write, edit and search files, and run
bash - Start a live preview, read its logs and get a preview URL
- Set secrets, use the Postgres database and file storage, and roll back with checkpoints
- Test the app in a real browser and attach screenshots
- Export, sync with GitHub, manage domains, and publish to a live URL
Every result carries a link to watch the project live in Mythex while your assistant works. Mythex is also listed in the official MCP Registry as ai.mythex/mythex. Read the walkthrough: build Mythex apps from Claude, Cursor or Codex.
Limits. Tool calls need Pro ($25/month); usage draws from your Mythex credits. Web apps; on Pro they can also be wrapped as Android and iPhone apps (web screens, not fully native UI).
Lovable
Lovable documents chat connectors, custom MCP servers for its agent, and its own MCP server. See Lovable MCP docs.
Replit
Replit's Agent can connect to MCP servers, and Replit runs its own server at mcp.replit.com. See Replit MCP docs.
Base44
Base44 documents an MCP server for its backend. See Base44 MCP docs.
Bubble
Bubble has an official MCP. See Bubble MCP.
Wix
Wix offers an MCP server for developers and a built-in MCP for each site, aimed at site and business data rather than building apps from scratch. See Wix MCP.
Glide
Glide lists "Build with your own agent (MCP)" on its Pro plan. See Glide pricing.
Bolt
Bolt documents built-in and custom MCP connectors for its agent (not on the free plan); we did not find a Bolt MCP server. See Bolt MCP connectors.
How to choose
- You live in Claude, Cursor or Codex and want a hosted app at the end. Pick a builder whose MCP server can create, run and publish projects — Mythex is built for this.
- You want the builder's agent to read your Notion or Linear. Look at connectors: Lovable and Bolt document them.
- You already run a Wix or Bubble site. Their MCP servers let your assistant work with that existing site.
Start on Mythex, upgrade to Pro, then connect it to your assistant with one URL.
Questions
Which AI app builder has an MCP server?
As of October 2026, Mythex, Lovable, Replit, Base44, Bubble, Wix and Glide all document an MCP server or MCP access. They differ in what the server does: Mythex's lets Claude, Cursor or Codex create projects, write code in a cloud sandbox, preview, add a database and publish.
Can I build and publish an app from Claude?
Yes, with an app builder that exposes an MCP server. With Mythex you add https://mcp.mythex.ai/mcp as a connector in Claude, approve access, and Claude can build the app in a Mythex sandbox, show you a live preview and publish it to a URL.
What is the difference between an MCP server and MCP connectors in a builder?
An MCP server lets your own AI assistant drive the builder from outside. MCP connectors let the builder's agent use other tools, like Notion or Linear, while it builds. Some builders, such as Lovable and Bolt, document connectors; some document a server; a few do both.
Is the Mythex MCP server free?
Anyone can connect, but tool calls need a Mythex Pro account ($25 a month), and sandbox time, previews and publishing use your Mythex credits, the same as building inside the Mythex app.
