We compared publicly stated features, limits and prices on each vendor's own pricing pages as of September 2026. We didn't do hands-on testing, and we left out anything we couldn't confirm there. "Not listed" means we didn't see the feature on the vendor's pricing page, not that it definitely doesn't exist. Thunkable's page was showing a sale when we checked, so we don't quote its prices. FlutterFlow: native apps with code you can take away
FlutterFlow is a visual builder for mobile, web and desktop apps built on Flutter, Google's app framework. As of September 2026:
- Free: $0, up to 2 projects, web publishing.
- Basic: $39 a month on monthly billing (FlutterFlow says annual billing saves about 25%). Unlimited projects, code download, APK download, custom domain, and one-click App Store deployment.
- Growth: $80 a month for the first seat and $55 for a second, adding GitHub integration, real-time collaboration and branching.
- Business: $150 a month for the first seat, adding up to 5 collaborators and automated tests.
It connects to Firebase, Supabase and APIs, and includes AI generation requests on each plan.

Bubble: complex apps across web and mobile
Bubble is a mature no-code platform with a built-in database, an API connector, AI app generation and a native mobile app builder. As of September 2026, billed annually: Free (development only, no mobile publishing); Starter $59 a month (5 mobile build submissions a month, 3 live app versions); Growth $209 (2 editors); Team $549 (5 editors). Thunkable is a drag-and-drop builder for native mobile apps. It says you can test live on your phone and publish to iOS and Android through their stores. As of September 2026 it lists Free, Accelerator, Builder and Advanced plans plus Enterprise. The free plan has 3 public projects and private projects need a paid plan; Builder includes 1 live published app and Advanced unlimited ones.

If your "mobile app" is really a tool for your team or clients, you may not need the app stores at all.
