Right class, right student

Each class carries an age range and a belt range, and students only see classes they fit. A seven-year-old yellow belt never sees the adult sparring session. When a student grades, their new belt opens the next classes automatically. Instructors can override for a student who is ready early, with a note.

Trials that turn into members

A trial in the wrong class loses the student after one visit. Mark the sessions where an instructor or assistant can give newcomers attention, and offer trials only there, with a small cap per session. The booking asks for age and any experience, and the instructor sees trial students highlighted on the evening's list so they get a proper welcome.

Family accounts and private lessons

Parents often have two or three children in different classes. One account books for all of them, with each child's age and belt deciding what they can join. Private lessons book with a named instructor in 30 or 60-minute slots, and can come out of a lesson pack. Cancellations inside your notice window still count.

Mistakes to avoid

Do not set caps by habit; set them by mat area and the number of adults on the floor. Do not let bookings close at the class start time for kids' sessions; parents run late, so close them an hour before and let walk-ins be added by the instructor. And keep the booking link the single action on your trial page.
