Build a Corporate E-Learning Platform for Your Training Company with AI
Mythex builds a course platform for a corporate training provider from a chat description: modules and lessons, quizzes with a pass mark, certificates, and a completion report each client's HR team can open. It runs on a real database you own and publishes to your own URL.
Who it's for
Training companies that deliver to businesses and want their online material in their own platform rather than a generic course marketplace. It suits providers who need client companies to enrol their own staff, track completion and prove compliance, and who currently send links, PDFs and completion spreadsheets by email.
What you can build
- Compliance modules a client assigns to all new starters, with a yearly refresher
- A blended programme: e-learning before a live workshop, a quiz after it
- A certification course with a pass mark, retakes and a numbered certificate
- Manager training split by company, so each client sees only its own cohort
- A free taster module used to sell the full in-house programme
What a corporate course platform must handle
A course site for individuals stops at sign-up, lessons and a progress bar. Corporate delivery adds a buyer. The client's HR or L&D contact needs to invite staff, assign courses, set a deadline and pull a completion report for their own company. Delegates need to resume where they stopped, take a quiz with a pass mark and download a certificate. You need to see all clients at once and reuse the same course across them. Say all three roles in your first prompt.
- Roles: delegate, client admin, trainer, and you as provider
- Courses reused across many client companies
- Deadlines and reminders for assigned modules
- Completion and quiz scores exported per client
Mistakes to avoid
Do not make every delegate self-register with a public link; people forget, and HR cannot see who has not started. Invite them from the client admin instead. Do not hide the certificate rule in your head: write it into the prompt, for example pass mark 80 percent, two retakes. And do not rely on self-paced modules alone. Completion for mandatory corporate e-learning drops off without a nudge, so add a reminder email and, where you can, a short live session that the modules lead into.
What to put in it first
Start with one course you already deliver and one real client. Load the modules and lessons, add the quiz, and invite three staff from that client to test it. Watch where they get stuck in the preview, fix it by chatting, then add the completion report the HR contact will actually ask for. Once that works, the next client is a new company record, not a new build.
- One existing course, split into short lessons
- A quiz per module with your pass mark
- A certificate layout with your logo
- A client admin account for one pilot customer
Charging for courses
Corporate clients usually buy seats or a licence by invoice, so the platform can simply grant access once you mark an order as paid. If you also sell open places to individuals, a checkout can be added; card payments need a payment provider account of your own, which you connect by asking in chat and adding your keys in project settings.
A prompt to start from
Build an e-learning platform for a corporate training provider. Client companies have an admin who invites employees, assigns courses with a deadline and sees a completion report for their company only. Courses have modules and lessons with text and video links, a quiz per module with an 80% pass mark and two retakes, and a PDF certificate on completion. Add a provider area where I create courses, manage clients and see completion across all of them.
Questions
Can each client company manage its own learners?
Yes. Ask for a client admin role and each HR contact can invite staff, assign courses and see results for their company only. Mythex scopes the data per company so one client never sees another's delegates.
Can learners pick up where they left off?
Yes. Progress is saved per lesson in the database, so a delegate who stops halfway returns to the next unfinished lesson on any device.
Can it issue certificates?
Yes. Describe the rule and the layout, and Mythex generates a PDF certificate with the learner's name, course, date and a certificate number when they pass.
Can I charge for a course?
Corporate seats are usually invoiced, and access is granted once paid. For individual buyers you can add a checkout; card payments need your own payment provider account, connected in chat.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. You describe the platform in plain language and Mythex builds it with a live preview. You change it by chatting, and the code is there if you want it.
How much does it cost?
The Free plan needs no credit card and gives daily credits, enough to build and publish a first version. Pro is $25/month and adds code editing, export, GitHub, custom domains and credit top-ups.
