Structure first, content second

Before uploading anything, describe the structure: courses, modules, lessons, what each lesson contains and how access works. Short lessons that end with one action get finished; ask for a lesson template with a video, a short summary, a download and a 'do this now' box. Then add content module by module. It is easier to change the structure in chat before there are a hundred lessons in it.

Drip, cohorts and self-paced

Cohort programmes release one module a week from the start date, so the group moves together and live calls match the content. Self-paced courses unlock everything at purchase. The same course can be sold both ways if you ask for access rules per product rather than per course.

Payments and access

Checkout runs through a payment provider you connect with your own account, so there is no platform cut per sale. Pay in full, instalments and monthly memberships each map to access rules: what unlocks, and what happens if a payment fails. Sales tax on digital products depends on where buyers live; check the rules and whether your provider handles them.

Find the module where students stop

Ask for completion by lesson and module in the teacher area. The point where most students stop is usually one lesson that is too long or too abstract, and fixing it lifts completion more than new content does.

Can I charge for courses without a platform fee per sale?

Yes. Payments go through your own payment provider account. Mythex is paid by plan, Free or Pro at $25 a month, not per sale.

Where do the videos live?

Upload them to your project's file storage or link them from a video host you already use. For large libraries a video host is often the better choice.

Can students pick up where they left off?

Yes. Progress is stored per student, and the dashboard opens on the next unfinished lesson.

Can I move my courses from another platform?

Yes. Export students and purchases as CSV and ask Mythex to import them, then rebuild the modules and add your content.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You describe the platform and change it by chatting. On Pro you can also edit and export the code.
