The 7 Best AI SaaS Builders in 2026, Compared

Seven AI SaaS builders compared for launching a software product: Mythex, Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Base44, v0 and Bubble, with October 2026 pricing.

Mythex Team · Updated 2026-10-27 · 11 min read

The best AI SaaS builder depends on how technical you are and how much of the stack you want handed to you. Lovable and Base44 include login and a backend out of the box, which suits non-technical founders. Replit suits developers who need background jobs, scheduled tasks or many languages. v0 suits teams already on Next.js and Vercel, and Bubble suits founders who prefer visual programming. Bolt is the quickest route to a clickable prototype, and Mythex suits founders who want chat plus the code, a Postgres database and hosting in one workspace they can export.

Below is a quick table, then a section on each tool: what it is, where it's strong, where it falls short, what it costs as of October 2026, and who should pick it.

The quick comparison

What a SaaS needs that a simple app doesn't

A SaaS (software as a service) is software people pay for on a subscription and use in a browser. If you're new to the term, what is SaaS explains it. Compared with a simple app, a SaaS needs a few extra pieces, and these are what separate the builders:

  • User accounts. Sign-up, login, password reset, and each user seeing only their own data.
  • Payments. A checkout, usually Stripe, and a way to know who has paid.
  • A database you can trust. Data that survives, backups, and a way to inspect it.
  • A marketing page. Something to send people to before they sign up.
  • A way out. If the product takes off, you may want a developer to take over the code.

A good first version is one core feature plus those pieces, not a copy of a mature product. Our guide to building a SaaS MVP covers the scope, and SaaS ideas for non-technical founders helps if you're still choosing what to build.

1. Mythex: best for a SaaS MVP by chat, with the code, Postgres and hosting in one workspace

What it is. Mythex (that's us) is an AI app builder made in Dubai, UAE. You describe the product in chat, in English, Arabic or more than 60 other languages, and it writes the code (React, TypeScript and Tailwind by default; you can ask for Next.js, or a Python, Node, C# or Java API), runs a live preview in a private cloud workspace with a code editor, file tree and terminal, adds a Postgres database and file storage when needed, and publishes to a URL or your own domain. Secrets are stored per project, and checkpoints let you roll back a change that went the wrong way.

What it's good at. Building the marketing page and the app shell in one project, so the story stays consistent, then the core feature end to end. For user accounts, the agent builds sign-up and login with your database or a provider you pick (how). For payments, you add your own Stripe keys as project secrets and the agent builds Stripe Checkout, with the secret key kept server-side; you test with Stripe's test cards in the preview. On Pro you can edit the code yourself, export it or sync it to GitHub, so a developer can take over later. On Pro it can also wrap the product as Android and iPhone apps with Capacitor, sending builds to Google Play internal testing and TestFlight. Mythex handles Arabic and right-to-left products well, which matters if your SaaS serves the Gulf. You can also build from Claude, Cursor or Codex through the MCP server (tool calls need Pro).

Limits. Mythex's own SaaS guide says it plainly: there's no built-in SaaS billing product, no usage metering, and no teams or SSO for your customers; you build those, and login and payments use providers you choose. Email and analytics are bring-your-own too. There's no visual point-and-click editor. The phone apps wrap your web app, so screens are web screens rather than native UI. Code editing, export, GitHub and custom domains need Pro.

Pricing as of October 2026. Free gives 5 credits a day (up to 30 a month), a read-only code view and publishing for up to 3 apps with a small "Built with Mythex" badge. Pro is $25/month or $250/year, adding code editing, export, GitHub sync, custom domains, mobile builds and no badge. Business starts at $50/month and Enterprise at $680/month. There are no per-seat fees. See pricing.

Who should pick it. Founders who want to describe a product, keep the code, and not assemble hosting and a database themselves; and anyone building a SaaS in Arabic. If you want to click and drag on the page, Lovable, Base44 or Bubble will feel more natural. Start from the SaaS landing page, SaaS dashboard or cloud storage SaaS template, or see the AI SaaS builder page.

2. Lovable: best for non-technical founders who want login and backend built in

What it is. Lovable is a full-stack AI platform for web applications. You chat, it builds the frontend, backend, database and login, and you refine on the preview by selecting elements or editing text inline. Its backend, Lovable Cloud, is built on Supabase's open-source foundation and includes a database, storage, authentication and functions.

What it's good at. The most complete guided path for a non-developer. User accounts come built in, with sign-in by email, Google, Apple, Microsoft and, per its docs, SAML SSO and OIDC, so the "each user sees their own data" part of a SaaS is set up for you. Its docs also describe built-in payments for subscriptions and one-time purchases on paid plans, where Lovable provisions a Paddle or Stripe account and manages the keys and webhooks, or you can connect your own Stripe account. Git sync is on every plan, and plans are priced by credits with unlimited workspace members.

Limits. Web apps only. Code editing, custom domains and removing the Lovable badge are paid; SSO is on Business. The running app depends on Lovable Cloud unless you move the backend, which is worth thinking about before you have paying customers.

Pricing as of October 2026. Free gives 5 build credits a day, up to 30 a month. Pro starts at $25/month (or $250/year) for 100 credits and Business at $50/month, with higher credit tiers on both. See Lovable's plans.

Who should pick it. Non-technical founders who want accounts and a backend handled for them and like to tweak visually. More: Mythex vs Lovable and Lovable alternatives.

3. Bolt: best for the quickest clickable prototype or demo

What it is. Bolt, from StackBlitz, is an AI builder for websites and web apps that runs in your browser. Bolt Cloud adds hosting, databases and custom domains.

What it's good at. Speed to a first running preview, which is what you want for an investor demo or a user interview. A broad choice of JavaScript frameworks, unlimited databases even on Free, and connectors and MCP on Pro.

Limits. Token use grows with project size, so long projects cost more per change. Free sites carry Bolt branding and can't use a custom domain. Backends stay in the JavaScript world.

Pricing as of October 2026. Free gives 1M tokens a month with a 300K daily limit. Pro is $25/month for 10M tokens with rollover, a custom domain and no branding. Teams is $30 per member a month and adds SSO and team features. See Bolt pricing.

Who should pick it. Founders who need a demo this week, and JavaScript developers who like seeing the code. More: Mythex vs Bolt, Bolt alternatives and Bolt vs Replit.

4. Replit: best for developers who need background jobs, many languages and a full IDE

What it is. Replit is a cloud development environment with an AI Agent that builds apps from a description, with built-in authentication, database, hosting and monitoring. It supports many languages and several deployment types.

What it's good at. The broadest runtime here. A SaaS that needs a scheduled job, a webhook worker, a bot or a Python backend fits naturally. You have a real IDE when you want one, and Pro adds parallel agents and up to 15 collaborators.

Limits. The IDE is always there, which can feel like a lot for non-developers. Agent work and published apps are metered, so the plan price is a floor. The free Starter plan publishes one app, which goes offline after 30 days and shows a "Made with Replit" badge, according to Replit's docs.

Pricing as of October 2026. Starter is free with daily Agent credits. Core is $20/month ($18 billed annually) with $20 of usage included. Pro is $100/month ($90 billed annually). Enterprise is custom. See Replit pricing.

Who should pick it. Technical founders who want one cloud machine for everything. More: Mythex vs Replit and Replit alternatives.

5. Base44: best for the fewest infrastructure decisions

What it is. Base44 is a no-code AI platform that builds apps from a prompt. Its site lists a built-in backend and database, user management and authentication, hosting and one-click integrations. The site footer shows it as part of Wix.

What it's good at. You describe the product and the database, login and hosting are there from the start. Base44 says you own your code, data and users, and paid plans from Builder include two-way GitHub sync. Its docs describe two payment routes: Base44 Payments powered by Wix, and a Stripe setup from the AI chat that starts in a test environment (Stripe needs Builder or above). They also describe single sign-on for your app's users and preparing store files to submit the app, wrapped in a native shell, to the App Store and Google Play from Builder.

Limits. The free tier is small, at 25 message credits a month. The pricing page lists annual prices only. Its app store docs note that Base44 apps don't support Apple In-App Purchase or Google Play Billing yet, so a subscription SaaS can't sell its tiers inside the phone app.

Pricing as of October 2026. Billed annually: Starter $16/month (100 message credits), Builder $40/month (250, with GitHub), Pro $80/month (500) and Elite $160/month (1,200). Base44 says annual billing saves 20%. See Base44 pricing.

Who should pick it. Non-technical founders who want the fewest choices. More: Mythex vs Base44, Base44 alternatives and Base44 vs Lovable.

6. v0: best for Next.js products on Vercel

What it is. v0 is Vercel's AI agent for building UI and full-stack apps with Next.js, Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui. Apps deploy to Vercel, with GitHub sync and a visual Design Mode.

What it's good at. Strong interface generation and a direct path into a Next.js repository and Vercel hosting, which many engineering teams already use. If you plan to hire developers, a standard Next.js codebase is easy to hand over.

Limits. Databases, auth and payments come through integrations rather than one built-in product. Paid plans are per user, which adds up for a team.

Pricing as of October 2026. Free has a 7-message daily limit. Plus is $30 per user a month and Business $100 per user a month, each with monthly credits per user. See v0 pricing.

Who should pick it. Teams on Vercel and Next.js, and founders who mostly need product UI. More: Mythex vs v0 and v0 alternatives.

7. Bubble: best for visual programming for web and native apps

What it is. Bubble is a long-running no-code platform that pairs AI prompting with a visual editor. It builds full-stack web apps and native iOS and Android apps, with hosting included.

What it's good at. Deep visual control over workflows, data and privacy rules without reading code, plus web and native mobile apps from one platform, so a SaaS with a phone app doesn't need a second tool.

Limits. Bubble's docs say apps run only on Bubble and can't be exported as code; leaving means rebuilding. Usage is metered in workload units, and the learning curve is real.

Pricing as of October 2026. Free with 50K workload units a month. Billed annually, Starter is $59/month, Growth $209/month and Team $549/month. See Bubble pricing.

Who should pick it. Founders who never want to see code and will learn a visual programming model in exchange for control. More: Mythex vs Bubble and Bubble alternatives.

How we compared

This is a comparison of publicly stated features and pricing, not a hands-on benchmark. In October 2026 we read each vendor's own pricing page and documentation and compared the tools on what a SaaS needs:

  • User accounts — built in, or built by the agent with a provider you choose
  • Payments — how Stripe or another provider is connected
  • Backend and database — included, integrated, or your own
  • Runtime — web only, background jobs, many languages, native mobile
  • Ownership — can you edit, export or sync the code
  • Pricing — free tier, first paid tier, and how usage is metered (credits, tokens, seats or workload units)

We didn't build the same product in each tool or rate code quality. Where a vendor's page didn't state something, we said so instead of guessing. Mythex is our product; we listed it first because this is our site, and we've described its limits as plainly as anyone else's.

Which one should you choose?

Start from the constraint that matters most:

  • You're non-technical and want accounts and a backend handled for you. Lovable or Base44.
  • You want the code, Postgres and hosting in one workspace, and a clean exit to GitHub. Mythex.
  • You need a demo for investors or users this week. Bolt.
  • Your product needs background workers, scheduled jobs or a non-JavaScript backend. Replit, or Mythex if a Python, Node, C# or Java API is enough.
  • Your team is on Next.js and Vercel. v0.
  • You never want to see code and need native mobile from the same platform. Bubble.
  • Your product serves Arabic-speaking customers. Mythex; see AI app builders for Arabic.

Whichever tool you pick, test the three things that hurt most if they break: a new user can sign up and only sees their own data, a test payment unlocks what it should, and the data survives a redeploy. Then put it in front of ten real users before you build feature two. How to price a SaaS product and SaaS metrics explained help once people start paying.

Building a SaaS with Mythex

If Mythex fits, start from a template and change it in chat. The SaaS landing page, SaaS dashboard and cloud storage SaaS templates are good starting points, and there are about 200 more at /templates. The AI SaaS builder page has example prompts, and the docs guide to building a SaaS MVP covers the thin slice to build first. For the wider field, see the best AI app builders and Lovable vs Bolt vs Replit.

Questions

Can you build a SaaS with AI?

Yes, at least the first version. AI app builders can produce a marketing page, sign-up and login, the core feature, a database and a checkout flow from a description. What still needs you is the product thinking: one clear problem, one core feature, real users, and careful testing of login, payments and data access before you charge anyone.

What is the best AI SaaS builder?

It depends on how technical you are and how much of the stack you want included. Lovable and Base44 include login and a backend, which suits non-technical founders. Replit suits developers who need background jobs or many languages. v0 suits teams on Next.js and Vercel. Bubble suits founders who prefer visual programming. Mythex suits founders who want chat plus the code, a Postgres database and hosting in one workspace.

Do AI SaaS builders handle subscriptions and billing?

Usually through Stripe. Many builders, including Mythex, have you connect your own Stripe account with your own keys and then build the checkout flow in the app. As of October 2026 Lovable also offers built-in payments on paid plans, provisioning a Paddle or Stripe account for you, and Base44 offers its own payments powered by Wix. Check failed payments, cancellations and tax before you launch.

How much does it cost to build a SaaS MVP with AI?

The builder itself starts around $16 to $25 a month on the first paid tier for most tools as of October 2026, with usage-based credits or tokens on top. Add a custom domain, email sending, Stripe fees and any AI API costs inside your product. Heavy iteration costs more than the sticker price on every tool.
